What educational approach does Dreamland follow?
Dreamland is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which views children as capable, curious learners. Learning grows from children's interests, relationships, and meaningful experiences rather than from rigid, one-size-fits-all curricula.
What makes Dreamland different from other early childhood schools?
At Dreamland, we focus on the whole child—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed, our educators are highly trained, and learning is guided by curiosity, collaboration, and purpose.
Is Dreamland a full Spanish immersion school?
No. Dreamland is not a full Spanish immersion school.
We teach Spanish in a dedicated immersion environment during a specific part of the day. Children participate in our Spanish Room for approximately 45 minutes daily, where Spanish is experienced naturally through conversation, music, stories, and hands-on activities.
The rest of the day, instruction takes place primarily in English.
Why does Dreamland offer Spanish this way?
This approach allows children to experience Spanish in an engaging and meaningful way while maintaining a strong and secure English foundation. Our goal is to build confidence, listening skills, and curiosity for language—without pressure.
What does a typical day at Dreamland look like?
Each day follows a thoughtful rhythm that balances learning, play, movement, rest, and connection. Children engage in hands-on exploration, group experiences, and quiet moments, with Spanish Room time included as part of the daily schedule.
